Frequently asked questions.
Q: Is this an AHA or Red Cross certification?
We are not affiliated with the American Heart Association (AHA), Red Cross or OSHA. We are an independent provider of CPR, First Aid and AED training. The only difference between our courses and an AHA or Red Cross course is our courses take less time, cost less money and do not require a live hands on skills check! If you need an AHA or Red Cross specific course please find a provider in your local area or visit www.heart.org to find a provider.
Q: Is your certification accepted by my state?
Certification requirements can be different for various states, institutions and employers. We strongly advise you check your applicable organization/institution to ensure that our course(s) fulfill your specific requirements.
Q: How long will it take to receive my wallet card?
You will be able to immediately print your temporary wallet card and wall certificate once you pass the quiz and complete payment. Your signed wallet card and wall certificate (if purchased) will be mailed within 2 business days. You should receive the hard copy in mail within 7-10 business days. There is no additional fee for the signed wallet card.
Q: What if I don’t pass the quiz at the end of the course?
The final quiz can be taken as many times as needed to pass. Remember that all questions are pulled from the course material, so you can review the curriculum if you don’t pass the first time. We have integrated the quiz questions into the content for immediate feedback. You can complete the quiz and study at the same time. There are no additional fees or charges for reattempting the quiz.
Q: How long is your course(s)? Do I have to finish it all at one sitting?
Our e-learning courses are designed to let you work at your own pace. The average completion time for our course is 1 to 3 hours. The course does not have to be completed all in one sitting.
Q: Does your course require an outside hands-on test?
No. Our interactive training includes step-by-step video demonstrations that allow you to practice along at your own pace. This training method will cover and allow you to build and practice the skills required to perform CPR. However, your employer or state or local government may require a hands on practical test. Please check before purchasing any online course.
